Strong4Life
East Clayton Elementary took on the Strong4Life challenge to build strong bodies and strong minds. Strong4Life is a program created by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to help families and communities develop a healthy lifestyle.. On October 31, 2023, members of the Strong4Life Team visited East Clayton to kick off this challenge with a Strong Mind, Strong Body Pep Rally.
The students and staff engaged in a fun and interactive educational experience led by an enthusiastic team including a live DJ. Students had a blast singing and dancing as they learned about healthy eating habits and fun alternatives that can help limit their screen time and keep them active. Not to be left out, the teachers got in on the fun. The students got a real kick out of seeing their favorite teachers and administrators show off their dance moves.
